Our first webinar is targeted at those in the community who are coaching, aspiring coaches or parents of players. Learn about how the environment that we create off the field impacts on field performance. Guest speakers will talk about strategies in creating safe environments to get the best out of people both on and off the field. Hosted by Samantha Lewis, from Women Onside, join us to hear from our guest speakers on their journeys in football and how the game can continue to grow.

Janet Drakos - National Female Wellbeing Manager

Janet Drakos is the current National Female Wellbeing Manager for Football Australia, having held the role with Football Australia for 4 and a half years. Janet’s role focuses on supporting the wellbeing of all female national teams, including the CommBank Matildas, CommBank ParaMatildas, CommBank Junior Matildas and CommBank Young Matildas.
Faye Chambers - Coach Education Instructor

Faye Chambers is a distinguished coach, educator and football analyst. Faye holds her A Diploma and has an extensive background in football coaching and has significantly contributed to the development of the sport at various levels. Faye is a Coach Education Tutor with Football Australia playing a pivotal role in supporting current and aspiring coaches through education and mentorship.
Louise McColl - Coach Education Instructor

Louise McColl is a respected coach educator and technical leader with Football Australia, where she works as a Coach Education Tutor and formerly held the role of Community Technical Lead. Lousie holds her A Diploma and has a background as Technical Director at Bendigo Amateur Soccer League and coach educator with Football Victoria.
Lizzie Ramsay - Coach Engagement Lead - Growing Football Fund

Lizzie started her football journey in the UK as a player. In later years Lizzie found a new passion in football through coaching. Lizzie is driven by creating environments that show young girls they have a place in football. In her role as Coach Engagement Lead, Lizzie is rolling out the new Coaches Hub, a component of the CommBank Growing Football Fund.

Sam Lewis is a passionate advocate for gender equity and inclusion in sport. As a former ABC journalist Sam has covered all levels of the game, from grassroots to Olympic Games and World Cups. As the Impact Manager for Women Onside Sam leads initiatives focused on policy reform, community engagement, and creating safer, more inclusive spaces for women and LGBTQIA+ people in football.
